The question presented in this appeal is whether a claim under the Massachusetts Wage Act, G. L. c. 149, §§ 148 et seq. (Wage Act), is subject to a mandatory arbitration provi*272sion in the parties’ individually negotiated employment agreement. We conclude that it is and reverse the order denying the defendants’ motion to dismiss and to compel arbitration.
