HINES, Justice.
Serlester Stanley appeals the denial of his motion for new trial and his convictions for malice murder and possession of a knife during the commission of a felony in connection with the fatal stabbing of Therlin Gates. He challenges the sufficiency of the evidence with regard to the possession charge and the effectiveness of his trial counsel. Finding the challenges to be without merit, we affirm.
