NAHMIAS, Justice.
In 2005, a Cobb County jury convicted Baretta Harold Pierce of felony murder and other crimes arising out of the shaking death of her girlfriend’s four-month-old baby, Donte West (Donte). The trial court denied Pierce’s motion for new trial, and Pierce appealed. For the reasons that follow, we affirm.
