The wife, daughter, and mother of L. E. Engelhorn, a conductor of appellant's train, recovered judgment against appellant for damages alleged to have been sustained by them by reason of his death, alleged to have been caused by a hand-hold giving away, or contact with a cattle-guard, while he was in the act of pouring water into a hot box, he having descended a ladder on the side of the car for that purpose.
