This was an action brought by Belle F. Dolan, against the-city of Sandwich, to recover for an injury received from a fall on a defective sidewalk, on the night of December 25, 1887. The plaintiff resided on the south side of Third street, and the-accident occurred about nine o’clock in the evening, as plaintiff was going from the Congregational church to her residence.
