Defendant corporation appeals from judgment quieting plaintiff’s title to a certain parcel of land in the Iflamath River, denominated Taylor Island.

Sole Question Presented

Was there any substantial evidence that so-called Taylor Island is an island or an accumulation of land “formed in the bed” of the Klamath River within the meaning of section 1016, Civil Code, which provides: “Islands and accumulations of land, formed in the beds of streams which are navigable, belong to the state, if there is no title or prescription to the contrary” 1
