RULING ON MOTION FOR PRELIMINARY INJUNCTION

DALY, Chief Judge.

Since 1977, defendant has been an insurance agent for the plaintiff. In early 1988, while still an exclusive agent for plaintiff, defendant became an agent for two other insurance companies. At about this time defendant also began soliciting Nationwide policyholders in order to induce them to switch their insurance policy or policies to one of the other insurance companies with which he had become associated.
