Appellant James P. Hoffa appeals from a June 22, 1998 order of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York (David N. Edelstein, /.), United States v. International Bhd. of Teamsters (“Hoffa Violations ”), 9 F.Supp.2d 354 (S.D.N.Y.1998). The district court required the Hoffa Campaign to disgorge the full value of a contribution that it improperly received during Hoffa’s 1996 run for the office of General President of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (“IBT” or “Teamsters”).
