Petitioner, a Negro, was convicted of statutory rape on a 15-year-old white girl and sentenced to 15 years’ imprisonment. He appealed to the Supreme Court and the conviction was affirmed, 244 Or 455, 418 P2d 844 (1966). Petitioner, who was represented at the trial of conviction by a court-appointed Negro attorney, uoav applies for post-conviction relief.
