A. INTRODUCTION
The Debtor/Plaintiff in the present Adversary proceeding seeks recoupment against a Proof of Claim of Lomas & Net-tleton Company (hereinafter referred to as “the Defendant”) in the nature of statutory damages for violations of the federal Truth-in-Lending Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1601 et seq. (hereinafter referred to as “TILA”). The Debtor alleges that she was not provided with disclosures required by TILA in connection with a residential mortgage.
