Luke Kempa (Defendant) was charged by information with committing the class A felony of trafficking in the first degree by transporting 180 pounds of marijuana with the intent to distribute same. See § 195.222.7. 1 Following a bench trial, he was convicted and sentenced to serve 22 years in prison.
