Appellant was engaged by Irwin and Leighton, general contractors, to do the plastering in an office building being constructed by Fidelity Building Corporation, as owners. The Fidelity, by an independent contract, employed D’Ascenzio Studios to do the decorating; the latter subcontracted this work and plaintiff’s deceased husband was employed as a decorator by the subcontractor.
