delivered the opinion of the court: The appellee, Ralph Wintersteen, (hereinafter called the plaintiff,) brought an action on the case against the appellant, the National Cooperage and Wooden ware Company, (hereinafter called the defendant,) in the circuit court of Peoria county, to recover damages for personal injuries alleged to have been sustained by him at Dewart, Pennsylvania. He recovered a judgment for $18,200 and costs.
