WILSON, Circuit Judge.

This is an appeal from a judgment of the District Court of Massachusetts following a verdict by a jury for the appellee.

The plaintiff’s intestate, Gregory J. Slan-ey, was her husband, whose vocation was that of a seaman, and who was experienced in the practice of fishing with trawls from dories. He was employed as a member of the crew of the fishing schooner Henrietta, whieh was equipped with an auxiliary crude oil engine.
