General Electric Company filed an action for equitable relief, seeking both to enjoin the performance of certain contracts entered into by the City of Mobile (the “City”) and Motorola Communications and Electronics, Inc. (“Motorola”) and to have those contracts voided as violating Ala.Code 1975, § 41-16-61 et seq., which address competitive bidding for contracts entered into by the City.
