Procedural Background

On January 9, 1976, an involuntary petition in bankruptcy was filed against H. Roger Lawler (Lawler) in the District of Nevada. The case was transferred to the Northern District of Texas, Dallas Division, on June 6, 1976 and on January 20, 1978 Lawler consented to an adjudication of bankruptcy.
