GEWIN, Circuit Judge:

This trademark case involves the commercial exploitation of the “beauty secret of the Nile” — the aloe vera plant. We must decide whether appellant has earned an advantage in presenting the panacea of Egyptian royalty to the American housewife. Aloe Creme Laboratories, Inc., brought suit in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida alleging infringement of its registered trademarks and unfair competition by appellee, Milsan, Inc. 1 As a part of its judgment, 2 the district court found the term “Alo,” as used in appellant’s trademarks, was…
