MEMORANDUM OPINION and JUDGMENT ORDER
AUSTIN, District Judge.
This class action for injunctive and other relief was brought to vindicate plaintiffs’ civil rights pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 2000e-5 and § 1981 (1970). For the reasons stated below, disposition of the pending motions in this case shall be as follows: Defendant Furnco Construction Corp.’s (Furnco’s) motion for summary judgment is denied. Summary judgment is granted in favor of defendants United States Steel Corp. (U.S. Steel) and Arthur G. McKee & Co. (McKee). Plaintiffs are granted leave to proceed as a class. Summary judgment is…
