J. HARVEY HUDSON, Justice.

Appellant, Richard Dwayne Caddell, was charged by indictment- with possession of more than one gram, but less than four grams, of methamphetamine. To this accusation appellant entered a plea of “not guilty,” and the parties proceeded to trial before a jury. After hearing the testimony of the witnesses and considering the evidence presented, the jury returned a guilty verdict.
