This is an appeal from a judgment of the Superior Court of Baltimore City in favor of the- ap-pellee- (plaintiff below) against the appellants (defendants below) in an action of assumpsit brought to recover the balance due under an alleged contract of employment- between the- parties.

The appellee’s claim was that appellants had employed and agreed to pay him $1,500 to “check all materials and supervise the construction of the- steam distribution of the Capitol Power Plant, Washington, D. 0.,” which they had contracted to construct, and to- pay him in addition thereto one-half of any savings…
