In this negligence action, the named plaintiff, Maria Moura, sued the defendants for personal *184injuries suffered as a result of an automobile accident allegedly caused by the named defendant, Joseph Pulieri.1 Following the trial, the jury awarded the plaintiff $60,000. The plaintiff subsequently filed a motion to set aside the verdict as being inadequate. The court denied the motion and this appeal followed.
