This is a patent case. Plaintiff C.R. Bard, Inc. (“Bard”) is a corporation organized under the laws of New Jersey and has its principal place of business in Murray Hill, New Jersey. Bard is the owner of U.S. Patent No. RE. 33,561 (“the ’561 patent”) and U.S. Patent No. RE. 32,983 (“the ’983 patent”). Both patents claim the invention of a certain type of dilatation balloon catheter.
