Irving v. United States

District of Columbia Court of Appeals

Decided April 4, 1996No. 93-CF-1190, 93-CF-1397PublishedCited by 12 opinions

1Opinion of the Court

RUIZ, Associate Judge:

Appellants Terrence Pleasant and James Irving each appeal from convictions of conspiracy to commit murder and obstruction of justice. Irving challenges several evidentia-ry rulings and the sufficiency of the evidence to support the jury’s verdict. Pleasant challenges the trial court’s decision to admit evidence concerning his involvement in another criminal matter which underlies the obstruction of justice charge and restrictions on his cross-examination of the principal witness against him. Finding no error, we affirm.
