Plaintiff (hereinafter appellant) 1 filed a suit for damages against Park Lane Medical Center, Inc. (hereinafter respondent hospital) and Doctors Williams, Thorn, Bo-lin, Monaghan, Vilkins and Johnston (hereinafter respondent doctors) arising from the amputation of her right leg. The trial court, at the close of all the evidence adduced during a lengthy jury trial, directed a verdict in favor of respondent doctors and against appellant in response to a motion for a directed verdict.
