Under a writ of -fieri facias issued on a judgment in favor of the administratrix of Henry Pinard against Peter Holten, the sheriff seized and advertised for sale the undivided half of a lot of ground.

Mary Ann Coeller, wife of Peter Holten, filed a third opposition, claiming to be the owner of the property seized, and she obtained an injunction against further proceedings. She alleges, in her petition, that she acquired this property of Eisenman, by purchase, for five hundred dollars in cash, with funds derived from the income and revenue of…
