Plaintiff states that she inherited from her father the sum of $1100, which came into the hands of her tutor; that her said tutor being unable to pay over to her the said sum of money in cash, gave her in lieu of part thereof ($975) a lot of ground which she describes, situated in the town of Baton [298] Eouge, together with the buildings th'ereon erected.
