I. INTRODUCTORY SUMMARY

MeCLOSKEY, Judge.

The Judicial Conduct Board (Board) filed a Complaint with this Court against District Justice Shirley Rowe Trkula (Respondent). The Complaint consists of ten Counts based upon allegations that (1) the Respondent had improperly contacted the Supervisor of the Statutory Appeals Unit of Allegheny County regarding a defendant who had appealed to that unit from a sentence the Respondent had imposed upon him (paragraphs 1-11 of the Complaint and Counts 1-6) and (2) had made false statements to representatives of the Federal Bureau of Investigation concern ing…
