WIGGINS, Justice.

Blaine Freeman appeals his conviction for possession of methamphetamine with the intent to deliver, second offense, in violation of Iowa Code sections 124.401(l)(c) and 124.411 (2003) and his conviction for possession of marijuana, third offense, in violation of Iowa Code section 124.401(5). Freeman argues that the State violated the Fourth Amendment to the United States Constitution by conducting an illegal search of his vehicle and that the sentence imposed by the district court is illegal.
