Defendant Eastern Metal Products and Fabricators, Inc. moves to set aside an Entry of Default against it. Defendant was served by Registered Mail Return Receipt Requested pursuant to Rule 4(c)(2)(C)(i), Fed.R.Civ.P., which permits service of state corporations in a manner prescribed by state law. Plaintiff attempted to use N.C. Gen.Stat. § 1A-1, Rule 4(j)(6)(c) (1983), which requires the mail to be specifically addressed to an officer, director, or agent of the corporation, and be served on that person.
