This action arises from a collision which occurred on May 27, 1969, between two motor vehicles at an intersection of two county roads. ' The plaintiff prayed for damages caused to his vehicle by the collision. Defendant filed a cross'-petition asking recovery for personal injuries and damages to his vehicle. At the conclusion of all the evidence the defendant renewed an earlier motion for a directed verdict against the plaintiff on the grounds of plaintiff’s contributory negligence.
