This appeal and cross-appeal presents a number of issues for our consideration. First, we must decide whether the judgment of the *289court of appeals to remand the issue of the Wagners’ bad faith claims was proper. Second, we must determine whether the appellate court’s decision to reverse the directed verdict in favor of Ruth Wagner on the breach of contract claim was appropriate, based on the application of the “innocent spouse” rule.
