This is a putative class action involving alleged violations ■ of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and Rule 10b-5. Local No. 8 IBEW Retirement Plan has brought suit, on behalf of a class of similarly situated -persons,- against Vertex Pharmaceuticals Inc. and various Vertex executives.
