HOLLINGSWORTH, Justice.

The principal question on this appeal is the liability of the city and its police officer for fatal injuries to an innocent motorist in a collision with a vehicle being pursued by the officer. Plaintiffs are the executor and statutory beneficiaries of the deceased motorist. They appeal from a judgment on a partially favorable verdict denying several elements of the damages alleged.
