Defendant-appellant Carluin Sanchez (“Sanchez”) appeals from a judgment entered June 30, 1993 in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, John S. Martin, Jr., Judge, that convicted Sanchez of: (1) conspiring to distribute heroin and to possess heroin with the intent to distribute it in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 846; and (2) possessing heroin with the intent to distribute it in violation of 21 U.S.C. §§ 812, 841(a)(1), and 841(b)(1)(B), and 18 U.S.C. § 2.
