On Febru-' ary 25, 1927, tbe Osage Oil and Refining Company commenced an action in tbe United States District" Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma against Mamie Axelrod, Herman Axelrod, H. O. Dixon, J. R." Hos-kins, Continental Oil Company, Exchange National Bank of Tulsa, and the First National Bank in Bartlesville to quiet title to an oil and gas lease from the Osage Tribe of Indians to the Osage Company.
