In this action plaintiff, Henry Ledwell, Jr., seeks to recover money damages for personal injuries which he allegedly sustained on June 12, 1973, when he *44was shot by defendant Louis E. Eeda, while Eeda was acting as a security guard for defendant The. May Company. Ledwell’s father seeks to recover money damages for medical expenses which he allegedly incurred as a consequence of Ledwell’s personal injuries and for loss of services.
