OPINION

GREENWOOD, Judge:

Defendant Allison Bravenec Peterson appeals her conviction of aggravated burglary, a first degree felony, in violation of Utah Code Ann. § 76-6-203 (1990). Defendant claims the trial court erred both during trial and at sentencing. We affirm.

BACKGROUND

■ In the early morning of April 15, 1992, Jeramia Jasson Dorman (J.J.) was shot to death by Leon Peterson, defendant’s estranged husband, as J.J., wielding a baseball bat, entered Mr. Peterson’s home. Prior to defendant’s trial, she had been employed at one of the local Red Lobster Restaurants as the dining room manager.…
