GIERKE, Judge:
A military judge sitting as a special court-martial convicted appellant, in accordance with his pleas, of unauthorized absence terminated by apprehension from November 6, 1989, to September 18, 1990, in violation of Article 86, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC § 886. The adjudged and approved sentence provides for confinement and forfeiture of $400 pay per month for 3 months, and a bad-conduct discharge.
