OPINION OF THE COURT

KRAUSS Judge:

A military judge sitting as a general court-martial convicted appellant, pursuant to his pleas, of three specifications of aggravated assault with a means likely to cause death or grievous bodily harm, seven specifications of assault consummated by a battery, and one specification of kidnapping in violation of Articles 128 and 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice [hereinafter UCMJ], 10 U.S.C. §§ 928, 934 (2012).
