WINTER, Chief Judge:

Hector B. Germosen appeals from his conviction and sentence following a jury trial in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York before Judge Seybert. He was convicted of a single count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 371 and was sentenced to 60 months in prison and three years of supervised release. He was also ordered to pay restitution in the amount of approximately $1.6 million. Germosen argues that he was deprived of a fair trial by the admission of certain evidence and by improper statements by the government…
