I. INTRODUCTION

This multi-district litigation involves over 100 plaintiffs who allege they, or their decedents, suffered suicide-related injuries after their doctors prescribed the drug Neurontin, manufactured by defendants Pfizer Inc. and Warner-Lambert Company LLC (collectively “Pfizer”). Plaintiffs allege that defendants engaged in a fraudulent scheme to market Neurontin for “off-label” uses not approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
