OPINION
SHEA, Justice.
This matter is before the Supreme Court on the defendant’s appeal from his conviction of murder in the first degree. We affirm.
The defendant, Buenaventura Figueras, was charged by criminal indictment No. P1/91-3743-A with one count of first-degree murder in the killing of his brother-in-law, Jose Burgos (victim). 1 He was convicted after a jury trial and moved for a new trial.
