¶ 1. Rawson Plumbing, Inc., appeals from a judgment of the trial court in favor of Seater Construction Co., Inc. Seater, a general contractor, brought an action against Rawson, a subcontractor, pursuant to the doctrine of promissory-estoppel. Seater alleged that Rawson submitted a subcontractor bid to do the plumbing work on a construction project that Seater relied upon in submitting its general contractor's bid.
