In this case, defendant-appellant Efrain Medina (hereinafter referred to as defendant) was convicted of robbing the Norwood Park Catholic Credit Union in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 2113(a) and (d).1 Defendant was sentenced to the custody of the Attorney General for a period of fifteen years.2 On appeal, defendant raises the following issues for our consideration: 1) whether the trial court determined that defendant’s confession was voluntary before submitting the confession to the jury; 2) whether defendant’s confession was voluntarily given; 3) whether the…
