1Opinion of the Court

DENNIS, Circuit Judge:

Ronford Lee Styron, Jr., seeks a certificate of appealability (“COA”) on twelve issues to appeal the district court’s denial of his application for habeas corpus and seeks relief from the denial of his petition for habeas corpus. The district court considered and rejected a certificate on these twelve issues although it granted a COA on four other issues. For the reasons that follow, we deny Styron’s requests for a COA, and we affirm the denial of habeas relief.
