In an action for damages for unlawful imprisonment, the jury was instructed to return a verdict for defendants. Plaintiff’s motion for a new trial was denied and she appealed.

Defendant Cohen commenced an action against plaintiff in the municipal court of the city of Minneapolis to recover possession of a diamond ring. Defendants Martin and Commers are officers of the municipal court and the replevin papers came into their hands for service.
