The plaintiff has recovered a judgment against the defendants for damages for personal injuries, received by him while standing on the running board of a stationary motor-truck, through a collision between the motortruck and an automobile of the General Motors Acceptance Corporation, which at the time of the collision was driven and operated by its field agent, the defendant, Jake Ogilvie.
