ROOT, Judge:

Appellant was tried by a military judge sitting alone as a special court-martial. Contrary to his pleas, he was convicted of seven specifications in violation of Article 86, UCMJ, 10 U.S.C. § 886. He was sentenced to a bad-conduct discharge, confinement at hard labor for a period of 2 months, forfeiture of $265.00 pay per month for 6 months and reduction to pay grade E-l. The convening authority approved the sentence, but suspended execution of the punitive discharge for the period of confinement and 1 year.
