Christine Schwieger appeals from the district court’s 2 dismissal with prejudice of her sex discrimination claims against Farm Bureau Insurance Company of Nebraska and Farm Bureau Life Insurance Company of West Des Moines (collectively, Farm Bureau). We affirm.

Schwieger worked for Farm Bureau as a sales agent starting in 1981. Beginning in 1992, her relationship with Farm Bureau was defined by a contract, terminable at will by either party, declaring “the intent of the parties” that Schwieger was to be “an independent contractor and not an employee.” Farm Bureau…
