MEMORANDUM OPINION
ARTHUR B. FEDERMAN, Bankruptcy Judge.
Debtor Bradley J. Getman filed a Chapter 7 bankruptcy petition on April BO, 1997. John Lewis, Jr. was appointed as the Chapter 7 trustee. According to the bankruptcy schedules, Mr. Getman transferred $9000.00 to defendant Providian Bancorp (Providian) within 90 days of the' bankruptcy filing. The trustee brings this adversary proceeding to recover the alleged preferential payment, and he filed this Motion for Summary Judgment Pursuant to Bankruptcy Rule 7056 on January 26, 1998. 1 This is a core proceeding under 28 U.S.C. § 157(b)(2)(F)…
